Eagle Rare 10 Year Bourbon is an iconic bourbon that was crafted by Master Distiller Charles L. Beam in 1975. It is still produced at the award-winning Buffalo Trace Distillery. This bourbon was crafted from Mash Bill #1, like other great blends such as E.H. Taylor, Buffalo Trace, and George T. Stagg. It is a sour mash of corn, rye, and malted barley, which has a lower content of rye, than mash bill #2. This historical bourbon is rich and complex, with mellow undertones of toffee on the nose. On the palate, you'll indulge with slight hints of citrus from orange peels, layered with notes of candied almonds and rich cocoa. The finish is light and dry with herbaceous notes and lingering hints of sweet fruits honey, leather, and oak.
